Tips For Keeping A Suit From Looking Stuffed

by Victor Santerino

When a man buys a suit he usually does not have to concern himself with the number of pockets that will be available. This is because the jacket and trousers combine to have anywhere from 7 to 12 pockets stitched into them.

Unfortunately many of the pockets that are on suits are for fashion purposes and should never actually be used. The reason for this is because a jacket or trouser can quickly look stuffed and misshapen.

I wrote this article to let men know where to put their gear and how to do it in a way that does not look terrible. Upon finishing this article you will know what to do with your items each time you are forced to carry them.

The best way to keep pockets from looking full is to not use them. This can be achieved in cold climates by using your coat pockets exclusively. I do not recommend this tactic for anybody that might be at risk of having their jackets looted.

For men that do not have the option of using a jacket to store their belongings in a jacket there is help. However, you will still be relegated to keeping most of your items out of your jacket.

Outer jacket pockets should never be used to put gear into. However, the inside pockets can be used if the item in question will not look like a lump showing through the jacket.

Trousers with back pockets can be used to hide items when the jacket is worn. The use of this method however, is only good when a man knows he will not be taking off his jacket.

The use of front pant pockets is acceptable, but only for thin items that will not cause too much bulk. Place items such as money clips and cell phones in these front pockets to keep them safe.

How To Take Care Of Your Suit

Author: Clement Sancharo

Article: The suit is one of the most high priced outfits a man can buy for himself.  This makes sense considering the great things a nice suit can do for man.

Keep your suit longer than your average jacket or pair of trousers and you will undoubtedly get your moneys worth.  Taking proper care of your suit will leave it looking fantastic for years.

I wrote this article to give men the tips they need to fully take care of their suits.  After reading this article you will know everything you need to know to take care of your suits.

Suit storage is the main concern for taking proper care of a suit.  The suit needs to be stored out of direct sunlight, on a hanger or dress form, and away from dirt.  Closets filled with formed hangers are a great place to start.

Next a man needs to make sure that moths do not destroy his suit.  This can be done by using the smell of cedar to drive the insects away.  Cedar can come in the form of a cedar closet, hanger, or block of wood placed near the suit.

The use of dry cleaning is necessary to keep a suit clean, but should not be done too often.  Dry cleaning can damage a suit and over time will lead to your suit fading and becoming torn.

Using a steam cleaner is a great way to cut down on dry cleaning bills and to keep your suit looking new for a longer period of time.  Buy a steam cleaner and use it to take away odors and wrinkles from your suit.

Print this page out and keep it by your closet.  This will ensure that you never forget the importance of taking care of your suits.
